July- Word From The Word

Hello Blessed Ones! I pray all is well with you and yours!

This past Fathers Day, I preached a message entitled, “Who’s Yo Daddy?”. I am glad to know who my earthly daddy is, but also to know who my Heavenly Father is.

Different places in the Bible it tells us that we are adopted into the family of God "as sons where as we cry out Abba, Father."

In Buffalo, that just means "Daddy, Daddy!" Who’s Yo Daddy? It sure is a good thing to know.

We found that as sons, we are heirs, even joint heirs with Christ Jesus. That means that we have an inheritance.

As you read the Word you will find blessings, promises and favors that BELONG to you as heirs and as children of the Most High God.

Play "Who's Yo Daddy?" below and remember, you can hear many other sermons on our church website HERE

As you listen to this message I pray that you will see how blessed that you are to be a part of the Family of God.

June- Word From The Word

Hello Blessed Ones!

Greetings in the name of Jesus! I hope all is well with you and yours.
I preached a message recently, entitled, “Are We There Yet?.” My kids were always ask me that questions five minutes after leaving the house. No, we are not there yet, but we are on our way.

I don’t know where you are in your life right now. You may have arrived, everything may be great, even if you haven’t arrived yet you need to know that you are on your way to triumph.

Paul said that we are to "run in such a way that we may win." In this message, I talked about, “such a way”.

While we are headed to better, to victory and triumph, we are to run in “such a way” that we show our trust and confidence in our God. How do we do that? Look like a winner, sound like a winner and not a whiner!

James says to "count it all joy when you have trouble." Problems are not joyful, but if you know your end result is lacking nothing and complete, that ought to give you some joy along the way.

I hope this message will be a blessing to you and that you look like and sound like a winner on your way to triumph.

May- Word From The Word

Hello Blessed Ones

I pray as you read this that all is well with you and yours. We are living in a day that we are seeing the Glory of God moving on behalf of His people. I believe that the rest of our days are going to be the best of our days!

One of the things that I believe in the days ahead is that we are going to need the peace of God. I preached a message entitled, Peace Is A Place. What I mean by that is, peace is a place of safety, supply, contentment and rest. The Bible says that we are to enter into His rest, it even says that we are to be diligent to enter in.

Psalm 34 says that we are to seek peace and pursue it. That sounds like we are to go after it. In John 14 Jesus says, "My peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you." Obviously then peace is available to us.

I think that right in the middle of adversity there is still peace available to keep you from being overcome by the situation and allow you to deal with it with the wisdom of God, strength, confidence and peace.

I have made this statement many times, “Peace is a place where faith works at its best.” When you are in His peace, faith works its best because you are giving no place to worry, doubt or fear.

To hear this message, "Peace Is A Place" simply go to our website and click on the SERMONS tab or click HERE and scroll down to find it. I pray as you hear this message that faith will rise up in you to a place that you enter into His peace and you find rest for your soul. Peace is a place where you can cast your cares on Him knowing that He cares for you.

April- Word From The Word

I hope you are enjoying the Spring like weather that we are having. I love this time of year when everything seems to come alive again. Just a few short weeks ago things looked to be dead forever.

I would have loved being around on the day that Jesus raised up from the grave. When they placed Him in the tomb they knew He was dead. On the third day when they went to the tomb, He was not there!

The angel said, “why do you seek the living among the dead, He is not here He is risen!” That makes me shout a little, He is not here, He is risen. I have never been to the tomb, I don’t have to in order to know that it is empty.

I did however have to make my way to the cross one day many years ago. O, I never saw the real cross that Jesus hung on for me, but with my faith in the Word of God I showed up there and realized what Jesus had done on it was for me and because of me.

He did not have to give His life for me, but He chose to. I did not have to give my life to Him, but I chose to. At that time I was dead to, spiritually speaking. Then suddenly, just as everything now is coming back to life, I came alive in Him.

Regardless what seasons that I face in life, He keeps me alive and well. With the strength and ability to overcome and to always rise up the victor. I am so glad that He is not still on the cross, nor can He be found in the tomb, but if you look beyond my outward flaws as a person and look inside my heart, you will find where He abides.

I hope you have a great Easter and that you remember that Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Word From The Word- February

Greeting in the name of Jesus! I hope you have had a good start to this new year. I don’t know about you but I am ready for Spring. I know it doesn’t get as cold here as it use to and that is just fine with me. Bring on the warm!

I preached a message entitled, “Chosen Not Frozen”. You know that anything frozen is lifeless, it just sits there and does nothing. If you get ice in your water line it causes a hindrance and the water can’t flow as it should.

To many times I think we allow things to hinder us from flowing as we should for the Kingdom of God. Even those little things can stop the “flow” and we find ourselves just sitting there doing nothing productive.

The Word says that you are a chosen vessel {I Peter2:9} I would encourage you to read this passage in the Message Bible translation. It Says that 'you were once a nobody but now you are a somebody. You were once rejected but now you are the accepted.'

You are the Chosen of God to be on the move doing your part for the Kingdom of God. We can all do something. So do something least you do nothing!

Blessed New Year!

Blessings To All

Like it or not the New Year is upon us. I am excited about it. I always look forward to a new beginning , forgetting some of the past and moving into the things that are ahead.

I believe that this New Year is going to be a year of opportunity. A time to step out of our comfort zones and into the arms of God as we operate in the faith that we have been given.

Make no mistake about it, faith is still a “GOD Pleaser”. It is still something that He says He will reward. We are told not to cast away our confidence that has great reward.

It is always easier to stay in the boat than to step out on the water and walk. Look at the story Peter had to tell and others told, and we are still telling it many years later.

Some tend to think more on the fact that Peter sunk. I like to think about the fact that He walked first, and He walked last. And when he went down, Jesus was there to left him back up!

Don’t be afraid to step out of your boat this new year with opportunities to trust God. He is still pleased with your faith and trust in Him . He is still one that rewards faith.

May the rest of your days be the best of your days. Blessed New Year!

Word From The Word

I hope you had a good Thanksgiving. By the time you get this letter we will be into December 2009 and that just seems unreal doesn’t it.
It sure has been a quick year. We have had a lot of things to happen during the end of 2008 and most of 2009. We have had good things mixed with a lot of “not so good”.

Cheryl went through 10 months of chemo and radiation. She was and is still a Trooper. You can’t tell anything ever happen to her. She is an example of how you can go through and “grow” through a bad situation and come out the Victor!

I had a motorcycle accident November first that sent me to the hospital for two days. I had an ambulance ride that I don’t remember and a ride on a chopper that is pretty faint to. I broke a bunch of stuff and I am still recovering from it speedily!

Didn’t mean to take so much room telling you this but it goes with a message I preached, “The Waiting Process”. We have learned how to wait Scripturally and see God raise us up when things tried to pull us down.

I don’t know what you are going through as you read this but I do know there is a way to Victory and God’s Word when acted upon will bring you out more that a conquer! Our confession is, “the rest of our days are the best of our days!” Please read Isaiah 40:28-31

We pray God’s best over you and from my family to yours, Merry Christmas!
