Wednesday Weapon 5.25.11

Mark 4:38...and they said to Him,"do you not care that we are perishing!"
Luke 18:38...and he cried out saying, "Jesus, have mercy on me!"

As you see the scriptures above, both are instances where people are crying out to Jesus. The first cry is in fear, and the second one, is to recieve mercy from the Lord. Which do you think will get the attention of the Lord?

Crying out can be a way to show all kinds of emotions. Joy, fear, anger and even tears from aggravation or discouragement.I believe Jesus is moved by cries of faith. Declaring the Word of God, right in the middle of a storm. I believe that if you and I will cry out in faith, it will get the attention of our Lord today.A cry of faith doesn't have to have tears involved, it can just be confidence that believes His Word and declares what it says.

Thank you Lord for the Word of God that always leds me in victory. I choose to cry out to the mountain, and declaring that it has to be moved in Jesus name. I refuse to cry out in fear or unbelief. I stand on Your Word, and having done all to stand, I will stand some more if necesary. I will see the victory that You say is mine!

Wednesday's Weapon {05.11.11}

Believers In Training

Galatians 6:8
"We have a choice of sowing in two areas, flesh or spirit"

Galatians 6:7

"Which ever we sow into, of that shall we also reap"

Any kind of profession in life require training. To be the Believers that we are to be, will also require training. To become sensitive to His Spirit, will always require training. To train for something always requires effort. Began to train yourself to become sensitive to the voice of God. God has great things for you to do today, sensitivity to His voice will give you guidance, and boldness, to seize Godly opportunities. We are all Believers in training.

Father, I want to thank you for the opportunity to be used of You today. Help me to seize every opportunity that arises. I desire to sow into the things of the spirit. I desire to be led by You, and learn to be sensitive to You, today and every day. I am a Believer in training. Amen.

Faithfulness - A Two Way Street

Hebrews 11: 6 With out faith, it is impossible to please God.
Psalms 103:7 God made known His ways to Moses.

We serve a faithful God. We can depend on Him to always be there. The question we need to ask ourselves is, can God depend on us? Are you one that God knows, if He has something for you to do, He can depend on you? God really does need you to get things done on the earth. Moses was used of God because He was willing to be used. Do you have time for God in you life? If He gave you an assignment today, can He count on you to say, “here I am Lord, use me?”

Father, I want to thank you for your faithfulness to me, I desire to be faithful to you as well. I want to be used by You. I want You to be able to count on me. I dedicate myself to You. With all my heart, I declare to You,” here I am, Lord use me.”
