The Word as a Seed

I was using an acorn for an object lesson the other day. Holding the acorn in my hand while standing under the tree that produced it, their seem to be no way to explain how that tree was at one time just an acorn.
I started thinking about the Word of God and how that it is like a seed. It appears to be a book with paper and ink, just like any other book. The differences are many but the one thing I saw was that like the acorn that produced that tree, so the Word of God can be productive in your life and mine.
Once the seed of God’s Word is placed in a heart of faith, the potential of that seed can come forth. God’s Word has the ability to produce for you and me. I think with a New Year right around the corner it would be a good time to start getting His Word in our hearts and mix faith with it and bring forth the potential of the Word.
If an acorn can produce a tree, how much more can the Word of God produce for you and me. Began to declare His Word over your life, friends , love ones and this nation. Mary said to the Angel of the Lord, ”Let it be to me according to your Word.”

To Those Who Believe

I pray that you are blessed, in health and prospering in all your ways. You do know that this is the will of God for you and me. Jesus has paid an awesome price that we can have victory in every area of our lives. I so love the statement that Jesus made when He said, “all things are possible to those who believe”. The only thing that qualifies you to be a part of a possibility is your believing. On the other hand the only thing that can keep you in an impossible situation is your unbelief.
Is anything to hard for the Lord? That is a question that you need to answer. Is your situation to hard for the Lord to help you through and to bring you out victorious? Most of us would agree that nothing is to hard for the Lord. As simple as this may seem, this is where you may need to start your believing.
Sometimes I have to tell myself, “this is not to hard for the Lord to bring me out and into a better place.” I have found out a long time ago that the bigger the problem, greater the victory. If the thing you are going through today seems to be big, begin to focus on how great the victory will be.
As long as you continue to walk upright before the Lord, He declares that no good thing will He withhold from you. Begin right now to stop thinking about how big the mountain is and think about how big your God is. Declare it out loud, ”God is bigger than all my trouble and He is on my side.” His presence is just as close as the mention of his name. Do not forget what I was saying at the beginning, all things are possible to those who believe. If you can believe it, you are headed in the right direction to see it.
Pressing on in,

Welcome!

I want to welcome you to our newly designed web site/ blog. We are so excited about this avenue to reach out to the world with the Good News of the Gospel of Christ. Here at MCC we believe that the Word of God is a word to us from God. We believe that the Bible is filled with wisdom, guidance and direction for our lives today. Regularly we will be bringing messages from the Word that we believe will be a blessing in you life. When Jesus spoke of coming to give us life in abundance, i believe that He meant for it to be full, till it overflowed. The greatest challenge that you may be facing today can not stop the life that Jesus has afforded you. When you step out in faith and are willing to stand on the Word, God will make a way for you to overcome in every area of your life. Join us as we stand on the Word of God and see that Jesus Christ is indeed the same, yeterday, today and forever. He is as He always has been, a way maker, a promise keeper and a miracle worker.
